Drug Take Back Day

Sharp HealthCare sponsors community disposal for prescription drugs as part of Drug Take Back Day events that occur every April and October, sponsored by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

The DEA accepts expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. They cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps — only pills or patches. You can also visit takebackday.dea.gov to find other collection sites near you.
