Employer-based members

If you’ve lost your employer-based coverage, you may be able to continue your existing coverage through COBRA or Cal-COBRA for up to 18 months or longer. You should check with your employer to see what you qualify for and how to enroll.

You will also qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) in the individual market and can enroll in benefits with Sharp Health Plan directly or through Covered California. You may also be eligible for financial assistance.

If you’re struggling to afford your monthly premium, you may qualify for financial assistance through Covered California. This year, California has adjusted the income limits so that more people qualify for financial help than ever before.
