What is an EOB?
An EOB is a statement summarizing the costs we cover for medical care or products and includes an individual’s deductible (if applicable) and out-of-pocket maximum balances. Beginning July 1, 2022, all members who access care, regardless of what
type of plan they’re enrolled in, will receive an EOB for the month during which they accessed care. This information is also available by logging in to your Sharp Health Plan online account or by contacting
Customer Care.
How will you notify members?
All subscribers will receive a postcard from Sharp Health Plan letting them know that beginning
July 1, 2022, every month they access care, they will receive an EOB.
Can I see a copy of the postcard?
Yes. You can view the postcard here.
What if members have questions about how to read their EOB?
You can refer clientsemployees with questions on how to read their EOB to our online guide. If they still
have questions, please refer them to Customer Care.
Who should I contact with questions?
