Many Sharp Health Plan members have access to acupuncture and chiropractic services through their benefit plans, either included or added as extra benefits.

American Specialty Health offers discounted rates for alternative health care services. The services are considered to be enhancements to our medical plans and not insurance coverage. A referral is not needed in order for a member to access chiropractic and acupuncture services. The referral and authorization process is handled directly by the ASH provider.
