The San Diego Food Bank provides nutritious food to people in need, advocates for the hungry, and educates the public about hunger-related issues. Last year, the Food Bank distributed 28 million pounds of food, and on average, served 350,000 people per
month in our county.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Food Bank’s distribution programs, including the Super Pantry Program, the Emergency Food Assistance Program and the Neighborhood Food Distribution Program, continue to serve those in need during this crisis.
