$0 copays for COVID-19 screening, testing and treatment received from your plan medical group or as part of an emergency service. The cost for at-home tests can be submitted for reimbursement of up to $12 per test (eight tests per month).

There are no copays for medically necessary COVID-19 screening and testing received from providers affiliated with your plan medical group or in the emergency department. If you go out-of-network, you will be charged the applicable copay for your plan. Out-of-pocket costs for testing can be submitted for reimbursement online. Log in to your Sharp Health Plan online account, select Claims, then select Medical reimbursement form.

You can order four free at-home COVID-19 tests by visiting COVIDtests.gov. (Do not use websites offering “free” tests in exchange for your insurance information. No insurance information is needed on COVIDtests.gov.)

You can also submit proof of purchase for FDA approved at-home COVID-19 diagnostic tests of up to $12 per test (eight tests per month).

To submit your at-home tests for reimbursement, log in to your Sharp Health Plan online account. Select Claims, then select At-home COVID-19 test reimbursement.

The COVID-19 vaccine is a covered benefit for Sharp Health Plan members, with no copay, when received from your plan medical group or a contracted pharmacy.

Sharp Health Plan members can receive the COVID-19 vaccine at no cost from any pharmacy that is part of the CVS Caremark® national network. Use the pharmacy locator to find a pharmacy near you. Supply may be limited, so please check with your pharmacy to be sure they have the vaccine available.

Get same-day care

We’re here to help you get the care you need when you need it. Here are helpful resources for getting care quickly. Remember, you should always contact your primary care physician (PCP) first about telehealth services, as well as COVID-19 screening, testing and treatment.

Nurse advice line

Talk to a registered nurse after hours and on weekends at 1-800-359-2002. You may be directed to your primary care doctor. This is to ensure the quickest and best care possible when the nurse advice line is experiencing high call volumes.

Video and phone visits

Telehealth visits are a covered benefit for members, if your doctor provides this service. Your copay will vary depending on your plan, but should be no more than the copay for an in-office visit.

MinuteClinic

The health care professionals at MinuteClinic® can help evaluate symptoms and come up with a treatment plan. Most services will require you to pay the amount equal to your copayment for an office visit to your PCP.
