San Diego is experiencing record lows for rainfall, which can affect the flowers you'll see. We might not have a super bloom this year, but you can keep an eye out for wildflowers wherever you go. Anza-Borrego Desert State Park

Mission Trails Regional Park

There's no shortage of great views and places to explore in Mission Trails Regional Park, with more than 8,000 acres and 60 miles of trails to visit. Look for pockets of wildflowers on hillsides and along trails.

Nestled within Cleveland National Forest, the Laguna Mountain area offers hiking, camping, horseback riding and more. Take a trip to Laguna Meadow in May and June for the best wildflower views.

With 29 gardens, a glass conservatory and four miles of stunning trails, the San Diego Botanic Garden has something for everyone. Reservations are recommended.
