Meet Trent
Join us in congratulating Trent Fields on becoming our new manager of Medicare and IFP sales!
He will be working with our members and brokers to grow our Medicare and individual and family business
lines.
Trent was a small business owner for 20 years and formerly a sales executive for a workers’
compensation
provider, where he worked closely with San Diego brokers and employers. Trent’s previous experience
working
with our mutual brokers makes
him a valuable member of our team.
Originally from Nebraska, Trent now lives in Rancho Bernardo with his wife, Molly, and their two children,
Brock
and
Lyla. His hobbies include golfing, mountain biking, lifting and spending time with his family.

Meet Ernesto
We’re also excited to welcome Ernesto Padilla Gamboa to the Sharp Health Plan family as our newest account
management executive.
Ernesto works with our employers to grow our small business accounts and creates strong relationships with
brokers. He also supports the team with Spanish presentations.
Ernesto has been in the health industry for almost three years, and his favorite thing about working in
account management is being able to assist the needs of others, and of course, the wonderful team he works
with.
Ernesto’s hobbies are napping, trying new restaurants, and drinking coffee with his friends every Saturday
and Sunday morning. Ernesto studied in Mexico and Portugal and he loves diverse cultures and getting to meet
people from other places.
